My photos from their video shoots are all looking the same. I don’t want to photograph certain plot-revealing scenes, so I end up photographing the same scenes over and over. Anyway, here you go. I only posted five to Flickr this time, so I’m only posting [...] There was drama on Saturday. Like, not movie drama. I guess it was inevitable but I still hate seeing strife. Anyway, we won’t speak of it any longer. Instead here are the photos from parts of the shoot. These are the scenes where the goons tie up the lovers, take a cup of blood from them, [...] Well, last night, spur of the moment, they up and recast two parts. EJ plays lead now and Jason has been reassigned as “Goon 2.” I don’t know how they handle so much fluidity. It’d drive me bonkers, I think. But, even though they had to reshoot everything, the recasts seem to be a good call. [...] The picture above is my favorite shot from rehearsal for several reasons: 1. it’s in focus, 2. all five actors are in it (even though they’re not all in this shot in the film), 3. I like the balance, and 4. everyone’s looking the right direction. The plot keeps changing, the action is fluid, the [...] OK, theogeo, since you’re on hiatus from the internerd, I’m stepping up to bat for you and posting the new, insanely gory, hilarious trailer for Zombieland. Here’s a short telling of that day, and of how I got a hold of that wig. My friend Jason makes short movies. He’s a member of the Opium Den Collective (ODC Films). Their first movie, Downer, won both the Grand Jury Award and the Audience Choice Award at the recent Live From [...] It’s best when viewed in the post I saw it in, I humbly think. Anyway, do yo’self a favor and plz2bclicking. Short, sweet and surprising. And [...] I’ve been catching up on movie trailers this evening. Some of the films are out, some are upcoming. But they all look wonderful. Maybe you’re into these too, and together we can wax nerd-etic in the comments over how Wes Anderson makes even animated badgers look sophisticated, or squee about how goddamned adorable Michael Cera is, [...] First I wanted to date the guy who beatboxed while playing the Inspector Gadget theme song on a flute. Then I wanted to date Tony and/or Paul, the guys behind the incredible stop-motion fight video named, appropriately, Tony Vs. Paul. Now I want to date [...] |
