Neat thing about Facebook is that sometimes your uncle posts a photo you’ve never seen before of your parents, and it makes your heart swell with love. They look so happy. I can’t tell exactly how old the photo is, but I’m guessing maybe ten years or so. I can tell it was taken during a [...] Are done. Whole set here. Many pictures of me looking skinny and hot and oh so young. Also many pictures of you, possibly, if we were kickin’ it back then. Feast your eyes on this taste of scanned memories… My dad’s managing a new specialty beer store in Clarksville. Over 400 varieties. They’ve got all the regular stuff, all the not-so-regular stuff and the really not regular stuff. I’m proud and excited for my dad. I know the store will do well. And taking home a case of free microbrews every time I visit [...] Their place is a wonderland of antiques, old oddities and natural history. Some photos were monkeyed in Lightroom. Some weren’t. Mom and I had time to kill before we could visit Amber and Avan on their second day in the hospital, so I rode along as she ran errands and gave me a tour of areas of Clarksville I rarely see. Updating the blog has been difficult because I have been — surprise — out of my house and away from the computer screen! I’m finally understanding the allure of the laptop. They’re so tiny and a pain to use but oh the portability! But who gives a [...] Wednesday afternoon/evening (well, two Wednesdays ago, now), I drove to Clarksville. I spent a few days there and my next few Project 365 photos will be from there. I’m going back on Tuesday because MY SISTER IS HAVING HER BABY ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7TH. WOOO!!! Wow. We’re going to have a baby in our family. [...] Three enormous Rubbermaid bins sit in my dining room. They’re treasure chests but also suitcase bombs. They hold my half of the contents of my sister’s and my childhood bedroom, conveniently boxed and stored nearly a decade ago after my parents turned it into a guest room. And now opened and remembered by yours truly. [...] So what kind of sister would I be if I saw this photo on my pregnant sister’s Facebook page and DIDN’T steal it and post it on Flickr, Twitter and Scribblescrawl?
