After a long day of mourning the sudden and tragic death of the Memphis Zoo’s one-day-old baby elephant (look, I find it perfectly acceptable to mourn for something I’d been waiting on for 2 years and expected to watch grow up. Not to mention her historical significance and what her life could have done for the zoo and for Memphis), I was happy to end it with some delicious sushi, an awesome tote bag from the Vancouver Aquarium (with otters on it!) and some good conversation with Alissa. Thanks, dahhlin. It’s a bright spot.
(A bright green lit spot! I didn’t realize until I’d gotten home that this long green lit shelf used to be the sushi boat stream! It did….didn’t it?)
